VladasDUANORASVal passed away suddenly but peacefully in the Royal Blackburn Hospital on Thursday 15th September 2021 aged 92 years. Val was born in Kaunas, Lithuania. He came to England after the second world war where he met Brenda, who was to become his wife of almost 70 years when she passed away in February of this year. During his working life Val was employed by Rossendale Corporation as a bus driver, and in later years worked as a heavy goods vehicle driver for Gaskells Needle Felt and J&E Transport. Val leaves daughters Helena and Jennifer, he was a much-loved grandad to the late Paul and to Rachael and David, he leaves nephews and nieces and great-grandchildren. He will be greatly missed. Val's service and cremation will take place at Burnley Crematorium on Thursday, 30th September at 10.45am. Family flowers only.
